In 2024, we redesigned the wine labels of La Petite Ferme's Baboon Rock Grenache Noir and Chardonnay. The brief was to stick to a similar concept, a baboon standing on a rock, but make it more eye-catching, something that makes someone stop when they see it on the shelf. We photographed regional fynbos to use on the label and we made sure the rock that we incorporated was the same rocktype found in the region's mountainous areas. We created a collage with the natural elements before illustrating a highly detailed Chacma baboon. The project also included a cardboard carrier for the two wines. We made use of the same fynbos photography to create a high contrast floral texture.
